Insights

Insights bring your migration data to life with dashboards, reports and exports. Use these tools to understand your digital estate, identify quick wins, track planning decisions and communicate progress to stakeholders. Reports can be viewed interactively online or downloaded for offline analysis and presentation.

To explore individual applications or make changes to migration plans, use App Manager.

Accessing Insights

You can access Insights from the Workspaces navigation.

Workspaces → Insights

When opened, the Insights page displays several sections that provide access to reports, dashboards, and downloadable outputs generated from your migration assessment. You can also refresh the data displayed on the page to ensure the latest reports are available.

Refreshing Data

Insights displays the most recent data from your migration assessment. To refresh the reports and dashboards:

  1. Select Refresh Data at the top of the page.
  2. The platform will update the available reports using the latest assessment data.

Refreshing the data ensures that generated reports reflect the most recent migration analysis.

Featured Downloads

The Featured Downloads section provides quick access to executive-ready reports generated from your environment. These reports summarize key findings from the migration assessment.

Available reports include:

Executive Report – Rapid Insights
A summary report highlighting key findings from the infrastructure and data assessment
 Executive Report – Migration Strategy Plan
A comprehensive overview of the migration strategy including infrastructure, data, and modernization recommendations
The Executive Report – Migration Strategy Plan becomes available after completing 6R treatments and wave planning.

Live Dashboards

The Live Dashboards section provides interactive dashboards for deeper analysis of your migration environment.

Available dashboards include:

Estate Insights

Provides a portfolio view of your environment across infrastructure, technologies, dependencies, and modernization opportunities.

This dashboard links directly to Estate Explorer.

Application Insights

Provides application-level insights including migration treatments, modernization paths, risks, and migration readiness.

This dashboard links directly to App Manager.

Legacy Dashboards

Provides access to previous generation Power BI dashboards.

These dashboards remain available for historical reporting while functionality transitions to the new Insights experience.
