Configure

Dr Migrate requires configuration within your Azure environment to function properly. Both data collection methods (Azure Migrate and DMC) involve Azure Migrate projects, but the configuration steps differ.

DMC¶

If you're using the Dr Migrate Collector (DMC) for on-premises data collection, you'll create a new Azure Migrate project that Dr Migrate will use to process your data.

Configuration includes: Creating a new Azure Migrate project and setting up the required Azure and Fabric permissions.

Azure Migrate¶

If you're using Azure Migrate for data collection, you'll configure your existing or new Azure Migrate project to work with Dr Migrate.

Configuration includes: Setting up Azure and Fabric permissions to allow your Azure Migrate project to connect to your Dr Migrate instance.
