Sync Your Data
The Dr Migrate Marketplace deployment provides secure access through Azure Bastion for analyzing Azure Migrate projects and DMC scan results. Each deployment is isolated and accessible via Bastion connection, requiring proper credentials and permissions for access.
Before syncing your data, ensure the following prerequisites are in place:

Access Setup
Access Your Marketplace Instance
Access to Dr Migrate is provided through the deployed Azure Bastion instance.
Connect to the Virtual Machine via Bastion. Using the credentials you specified during deployment, or provided to you by an Administrator.

Login to Dr Migrate
Required Permissions
In order to be able to access Dr Migrate within your subscription, you need the following permissions.
| Role | Scope |
|---|---|
| Reader | The Subscription that Dr Migrate is deployed into |
| Contributor | The Resource Group that Dr Migrate is deployed into |
Access the Dr Migrate Application
Locate the Dr Migrate Application
Search for Managed Applications within the Azure Portal, once you have located your Managed Application, select the Managed resource group from the Overview screen.
Within the Managed resource group, select the Virtual Machine.
Log In to the Virtual Machine
Connect to the Virtual Machine via Bastion. Using the credentials you specified during deployment, or provided to you by an Administrator.

Login to Dr Migrate
Once logged into the Virtual Machine. Open the Dr Migrate application via the shortcut on the Desktop, to launch the Dr Migrate Web App.
Simply, login with the same credentials used for the Bastion, to login.
Data Collection
Before syncing data, ensure you have completed one of the following data collection methods:
- Azure Migrate: Your Azure Migrate project is deployed, configured, and collecting data
- DMC (Dr Migrate Collector): You have completed the DMC scan and have encrypted results ready for upload
Permissions
Ensure you have the necessary permissions to:
- Access your Dr Migrate Marketplace instance via Bastion
- Upload data files (for DMC sync)
- Connect to Azure Migrate projects (for Azure Migrate sync)
