DMC (Dr Migrate Collector) is a secure, lightweight infrastructure discovery tool purpose-built to power the Dr Migrate platform. It enables organizations to capture rich, actionable infrastructure metadata from both hypervisor-level and guest VM environments, all while maintaining full data control within their own network.
DMC Overview
DMC runs locally from a jump box with no need for agents, installs, or external connections — meaning no data is transmitted externally. It collects only the data necessary for modernization and migration planning, using in-memory credential handling and producing a fully encrypted result set.
Once data is collected, customers upload the encrypted package to their dedicated Dr Migrate instance, where powerful cloud-native intelligence takes over.
